In the state of Guayana in Venezuela lies a city considered to be the jewel of this region: Puerto Ordaz. As a mixture of modern cityscape and natural beauty, it is fitting that it is also now the location for the new Church of Scientology Mission of Puerto Ordaz.

The ribbon cutting for the new mission was a vibrant and lively affair, hosted by the Director of the new Mission, Carolina Lombardo, and attended by executives of the Church of Scientology of Venezuela. Many community members and local university staff and media were also in attendance.
